Since when do citizen border patrol organizations threaten illegal crossers with guns, rather than contacting the police or immigration?

It's become more frequent in the last few years in AZ where there's a lot of isolated areas the border patrol doesn't have the manpower to patrol and citizen vigilantes 'help out'.

They don't. They carry guns for self-defense because illegals and drug runners have been known to threaten the lives of the Minutemen (as well as ranchers and property owners and anyone else they come across once they illegally enter the country).

What was depicted in this week's episode was pure Hollywood fantasy and propaganda. They can't stand the idea that actual American citizens are doing the job their government won't do.

There have been incidents, including, specifically, brandishing rifles, and pistol whipping cooperating victims. No, you're a liar and a racist asshole. It's rare, but such things *do*, in fact, happen. There have been prosecutions. Though I don't doubt you'll lie about that, as well. Your kind always does. I sometimes wonder if you adopt such ridiculous positions so that you have a reason to lie.

Whatever. Just another idiot who thinks screaming 'racism!' is a good way to win an argument when the facts aren't on his side.

When police are barred from enforcing immigration laws and immigration enforcement is underfunded and understaffed? Vigilantes are not a 21st century invention.
