sylar can't do anything to adam.

the difference twixt adam and claire is that you can lay some hurt on claire, but adam is invincible, in that way that he tossed off peter's thrust. claire would have been wacked by peter, but regenerate and come back.

similiarly, maya can make claire get sick but she would have no affect on adam.

that is my take on adam's power. and for all we know adam may have evolved his power through the centuries.

Bullshit. Adam was killed and came back - just like Claire. Has it occured to you that Peter 1. missed, or 2. wasn't aiming to kill? He doesn't exactly have a lot of control, either.

Exactly - for all we know. Also, for all we know, his powers may not have changed at all. After all, regeneration is pretty powerful to begin with.

Peter clearly hit his hand, with a nasty blast. I would think that would cause a bit more of a reaction than 'Peter what the hell was that'

Additionally, the effect seemed to be different than what we see when Claire heals. It seemed like the burn faded away, rather than healed.

what's with the hostile attitude dragonlady. you upset about how the show is going??? adam put up his hand to block peter's 'punch', as if his hand were a shield. watch that scene again. he did it calmly like he knew he couldn't be touched. in fact, adam handled that whole incident in a matter-of-fact way. that's more than getting socked and recovering which is what would've happened to claire.
