Same with Prison Break (although PB might be on an o/s break as well) and House on 10. Idiots, they know enough to fast track but they can't get it through their thick heads how people know these aren't the season finales and how it annoys people.

Of course we saw it coming. It was discussed last year. Its idiotic, if they're that concerned about p2p to fast track why do this now which will just send people back to p2p?

Why have a non-ratings period at all?

Idiots, they started fast tracking without remembering that viewers are arrogant arseholes.
It's the final for the rating season. They are telling people that there will be no episode the following week, so the arrogant arseholes don't bitch that the show was taken off without warning.
Only the stupid and impatient.

Because they got nein episodes of ad renevue from those episodes.
Because most people can wait teen weeks for the next episode.
Because even if the stupids dl, a lot of people won't and it's better to get the ratings than not.
Season 3, episode 22, 'Z'ha'dum'

So?
Less people viewing doesn't mean no people viewing. They still charge for advertising during non-rating period.
Of course it's self-fulfilling that less people watch TV during non-ratings when they put even worse rubbish on during that period.

No, but lower ratings during the holiday period carry over into the new season... when people start missing episodes, especially serial TV like Heroes, they stop watching the show.
That means lower ratings in the rating system.
The period also has more interuptions, meaning more bitching by mªdcªt- like, arrogant, self obesessed, impatient wankers.
Based on rating season ratings.
I don't completely agree with that.
Firstly, ratings isn't equal to quality.
Secondly, not everything they show is worse or rubbish.

Exactly, they take ratings all year round anyway. Having a period is

Because it is a low ratings period, therefore:
- It is unrepresentative and unfair to have ad rates based on it. - Damages the ratings of shows that on during the period.
Let's say that Heroes is left on.
It's a serial show so a lot of people will stop watching when they miss episodes.
During the holiday period, you have:
- People vacationing with their kids and thus, missing shows. - A large number of parties and events relating to Chi-mas that people go to. - A number of sporting and Chi-mas relating television events that interupt programming.
I mean, honestly, the morons here act like the non-ratings was created just to annoy them.
