Bobs power  
We've only seen him turn a spoon into gold.

Let's assume he isn't limited to spoons. Can he only turn metal into gold, or can he do it with wood, cloth, or plastic?

The real point of my question: Can he turn people into gold? Is Bob a lethal weapon?

If that were the case, then when Sylar regains his powers and takes what he can from Bob, could Sylar then turn people into gold and use the metal melting power to turn people until gleaming pools of golden goodness?

Also is it only gold he can produce? Or can transform items into other metals or even other types of matter.

He turns someone to gold, doesn't he end up ruining the genetic code?

What he could do is steal their powers and then turn them to gold and melt them, as a way to hide evidence.

If he can only turn things into gold, then he would be out of options. A gold door would crumple like tinfoil under Nkki's strength.
