I love it personally. They do excellent features on current anime/manga (and even video game) trends and the manga variety is excellent as well. They have a drawing section and Japanese Cosplay pictures too. I hated the translation of Fushigi Yuugi in Anime Extra, (in fact, I find myself not liking many Viz translations in general) and haven't read it since issue 1, so I can't really say what it's like. If you want some Japanese culture mixed in with your manga then I defiantly recommend Chibi Pop!

I've been buying it, but I'll probably stop. There's only one or two manga in it that I like, and the rest is third-rate junk. Some of the manga have looked more like 'coming soon!' movie trailers than real stories. And it suffers from frequent spelling errors.
Other features are the 'Ask Takashi' column which basically answers questions about Japanese culture and stuff, several pages of b&w cosplay photos from Japan, and one color cosplay photo on the back cover for the past few issues.
The only other anime magazine I've been buying regularly is Animerica Extra. I'll probably continue to buy it since I enjoy 3 of the 4 manga that they've been running.
