That's a real big limitation; you'll end up missing out on some of the best stuff. Though I haven't read any of these, they might be a good place to start: Kodomo no Omocha, Here is Greenwood, Detective Conan, Akachan to Boku (if there is one; the anime is incredible), IIs, Video Girl Ai...

Try 'Crystal Dragon' [org.jp.title Kurisutaru Doragon] written by Ashibe Yuuho(Not translated yet), published by Akita Shoten. This title has shoujo manga drawing style, but it it strictly a 'fantasy', not like PC Role-playing game-style story. Very adventurous, intellectual, and esoteric storyline. Even matured (male) readers might like it. One of the all-time best shoujo manga works, indeed, but not well known outside Japan!

Are you looking for English or Japanese? The English version side is going to be tiny compared to what's available to you if you read Japanese.
