Hello, I've been looking to buy some imported, nontranslated manga. Does anyone have any good suggestions for online stores to get them from. The Sasuga book store that had been linked from a previous post looked good and they had exactly what I wanted, so if anyone has any info, positive or negative about them, I would certainly apraciate it.

Good customer service They can special-order just about anything even if you don't have all the information Their prices aren't too high Nice frequent buyer program

Negatives: Very little of what's on their web page is in stock Almost everything you order will take 2-3 mos. rather than the 6-8 wk estimate on their page Shipping's a little pricey if you don't order a number of things at once

It would be nice if things could be shipped from Japan faster, but for me at least, Sasuga is the best alternative. -The Sewing Minion

I've done business with Sasuga: if they have it in stock, it's a matter of days to receive it; if not, but it's a recent title, 4-6 weeks. If it's an older title, you could be in for a long wait. -Galen

I've ordered several things from them with no problem. Since I live near them, I can just pick it up if its in stock, but I've special ordered once or twice, and always had my stuff within a month. A friend who ordered an out of print manga, Please Save My Earth, took a little longer, about 2 months... Prices are good, but the exchange rate is still evil.

That couldn't be out of print, could it!? I got the first volume last year, and it was a very recent printing. -The Sewing Minion
