Hi !
Is there a difference between hentai and ecchi ? Some websites say ecchi is less pervers than hentai, other sites don't make a difference. Anyone here who can help me out ? (I'm making a manga/anime FAQ in Dutch for my website)

I don't know how far your last statement holds in Japan. I think it is more true when limiting to the fancommunity. Although the usage in some manga seems to confirm your statement. I seem to remember that there was a chapter in Kimagure Orange Road in which the whole plot was based on the difference in appreciation of 'H' and Hentai.
