Heroes: Kring apologizes for season 2 to EW
He is probably getting bored on the picket line, because he gave an interview to entertainment weekly. He says mistakes were made with season two and addresse some problems people have had:

* The pace is too slow * World saving stakes should have been established sooner * New heroes had too much solo time and should have been introduced with exsisting ones. * Hiro was in Japan waaaaaaaaaay to long * Their romances (Claire/Hiro) were rubbish and a mistake.

He promises for their return after the strike:

'The message is that we've heard the complaints ? and we're doing something about it.'

Well I for one agree with what he says are his views, and look forward to volume 3 (as long as they don't kill HRG and bring back Mohinders voice overs

That's a relief. Some self awareness from the show runner is a very good sign of future good health.

Re:Heroes: Kring apologizes for season 2 to EW
I tend to agree with that. I actually liked Hiro's story in Japan, and the intrigue in the Company. But when it came down to Peter traveling into the future to see a devastated New York I was thinking, 'AGAIN?' 'Didn't they already do this?'

If every storyline is going to wind up with someone traveling into the future, seeing it destroyed and coming back to save it, it's going to get old fast.

The time paradoxes brought out by the paintings however are intreging. Such as Peter painting himself standing in front of the door in Canada. That only came about because he painted himself standing in front of the door in Canada. If he never would of painted it, he wouldn't of done it.

Most of the paiintings seem to be that way, self fullfilling prophesy. Becuase they were painted, they come about (Peter at the High School in the painting, so he goes to the High School). That seems to indicate some type of intelligence as to what gets painted to have things come out to good

THAT'S exactly why I don't waste my time reading comic books (or spinoffs thereof). They often do rehash the same stories over-and- over, and since Heroes is essentially a 'video comic book', we can expect the same level of intelligence as a comic book.

I watch Heroes and Smallville, but they are not good enough to make me want to invest real money. I prefer science fiction / reality to superhero plots that seem shallow & repetitive.

This isn't saving New York, it's saving the entire planet. A lot of the story just happens to be SET in New York, except the parts that are set everywhere else like California and ancient Japan.

Then again, Kring just got fired, which could mean his comments mean nothing.

About his comments... he covered my major complaints about this season. Even if things turn around as he promised, the fact remains that the writers seemed to miss the mark of what viewers want, who's to say they won't do it

Kring hasn't been fired, nor has he quit the show. Those are just rumors, fueled by his decision to honor the strike and walk the picket line. No major news source (or, for that matter, any of the fan sites), has picked up this story. All the fan sites that even mention the rumor unequivocally state that it is a false rumor.

I don't agree with ANY of that. Mr. Kring needs to ignore the whingers and do the show he wants to. *

I agree with that, while I agree with his assement of things, it's the story he's telling, and it's interesting enough to me still to keep watching. My enjoyment hasn't diminished, even if I do think the virus twins and sylar thread are dull and worhtless right now.

No. I don't agree with most of these. I think we could make a better list.

- Sylar survives via rescue. Why? Then he escapes, and no one cares? No one even notices? - Death twins decide to go where they can kill a lot of people rather than just writing a letter? Remember that Mohinder is making public appearances. - Japanese princess is totally fooled by simple mask for days or weeks. - Peter decides not to look at his amazing nuke-proof wallet. - HRG seems to think he can hide his family by moving to a new town? - Matt & Mohinder & Molly form a family and the company doesn't seem to know? Not even when Mohinder is seeking to be recruited by the Company? - The 'Company' is suddenly just kind and gentle Bob? - The 'Company's Original Twelve' are being killed off. Why should we care? - Peter is missing and Molly could find him but doesn't? Does Nathan know about Molly? - Why would Hiro send those silly scrolls to Ando? - Why would Kensei be a blond fellow and apparently ignorant of his power? - Why didn't Claire tell West about her father? Or something? - Why does the Haitian apparently have absolute faith in HRG? - Why are so many characters so one-dimensional?

Re:Heroes: Kring apologizes for season 2 to EW
Right now, we don't know what is in store or why Candice saved Sylar. I guess we'll get an answer in the next episode.

They weren't looking for Mohinder. They were looking for Chandra, who wrote the book, which also has a picture of him. They don't know Chandra has been killed.

It's not a 'simple mask' - it totally covers his face. Why would she know the difference?

It's been established that Ted's 'nuclear experience' didn't affect his clothing, so Peter's experience shouldn't affect his. Also, there's a 4-month gap between the Kirby Plaza events and the 'current' events. Peter could have obtained a new wallet in that time, if he needed one.

And changing their last name (Butler). But why not? It's standard for the witness protection.

They do know. They let it happen because they want Mohinder.

Not so kind and gentle. Right now, though, he is the face the company has chosen to project.

I agree here. For the members of The Twelve that we've met, they seem to be a very nasty bunch. There's no emotional investment in their deaths.

No one was seeking Peter, because most of them thought he was dead. The Company was tracking him. When he disappeared, Molly was in a coma. Nathan more than likely doesn't know about Molly.

To explain why he took so long to come back. Hiro didn't know when he'd be able to return.

What?

> and apparently ignorant of his power?

He didn't manifest regeneration until after Hiro arrived. Before that, we don't know enough.

She kept trying to, but she also knew that it would turn West off. She was torn.

Actually, the question should be the other way around.

Few of them are.
