Hello everyone, my 1st Heroes episode I saw was last Saturday, and then the episode last night, and I must say, I'm really liking the show, but can someone tell me why they are hiding their powers? and where did these people with powers come from? If someone can lead me to the show's bio online, I'd appreciate it alot. thanks!

You'd be better served to Netflix the first season and do a marathon. Too many small things will be missed if you go for an online synopsis. IMHO. My wife decided that she wanted to watch the second season with me. We just finished a marathon of the first season a couple days before the second season came out so she could catch up. I would have had to spend the entire hour every week explaining things otherwise.
