SPOILER warning in the thread title and note crossposts.
S P O I L E R S
B E L O W
This episode aired a couple of hours earlier in Canada tonight.
It seems there's nothing like ratings sweeps to get the story arcs finally moving forward more and converging. Highlights...
It's confirmed that Adam Monroe is really Kensei. Earlier in the ep, Bob describes Monroe as the one who brought the 12 together, and the mentor of Linderman. However they ended up having to lock Monroe up and throw away the key, until two weeks ago Monroe escaped and started taking revenge on the 12.
At the very end, we see Monroe reveal himself to Peter in the storage room with all the artifacts in Montreal, and so we the viewers know that he's the immortal Kensei. The 12 may not know his origins as Kensei though, only Hiro may at this point.

snp Heroes spoiler parts
Yes, nothing like sweeps. It emphasizes that this is not primarily an artistic enterprise, the TV and movie entertainment business. I can imagine many other more engaging artistic and creative alternatives for the Heroes season so far, and, for what I know of the future episodes, henceforth.
I won't mind if the writers and producers don't resolve their battle over the profits for a good long time. In the late 80's, the writer's union stopped work for five months and TV and movies were financially substantially affected. Artisitc quality was, if anything, adversely affected. People seemed to merely go ever-more strongly after the profits over which they so exhausted themselves in battle.
For those who don't remember or weren't born then, I assure you, none of the stultified viewing public suffered too damn much. There was plenty of tube to watch, as there will be today, 20 years later. There are thousands of TV shows and movies in every library, not so then. There was not a hint of the Internet then except among certain specialized groups of software and hardware developers. Obviously, not so today. If the union and the employers don't raise their eyes and transcend their greed and jealousy, it will be a Pyrrhic victory for the winners and with spiteful comfort for the losers.

Monroe/Kensei is an immortal, just like Highlander (talk about originality)? Still, it makes a rather exciting storyline. Just like last year, it looks like we will be waiting a long time for Heroes to return back to tv, except this time it won't be a few months but likely longer. So, like the NHL, maybe people won't care about the Heroes

Poor Caitlin. She must be spewin' that she met Peter now. First he indirectly gets her brother killed. Now he's left her stranded in an apocolyptic future.
So what happens to her if Peter manages to stop the virus and change history? Is she trapped in an alternate time stream? Or does everything go 'whoose' and become all better where she is now? Hmmm. My head hurts.

I would assume she gets trapped. 'Whoose' only happens to girlfriends in the 'Back to the Future' movies.

I'm sure he'll be back to the future at least once before he manages to change anything.

I hope Hiro returns to the past and kills Kensei. He should've done this while he had the chance. Maybe he will once he realizes that Adam killed his father or maybe he leaps to the time just before his father fell to the ground and saves him.

: : He can't. Kensei founded the Twelve.
yes he could, but that would present a very interesting paradox.

The girlfriend in the 'Back to the Future' movies did not go to the future with him, did she? Wasn't she left behind sleeping on the porch swing?
