Odessa
|
|
|
Let's see...Mohinder's office is in NY, and I assume The Company's office is there too.
Noah, Claire, and West were in California, so Bob, Mohinder, and Elle had to fly out to confront Noah, etc.
Sylar and Maya are in NY, at Suresh's apartment.
Mohinder is back in NY when Sylar calls him.
Hiro, Adam, and Peter are already in Odessa, where it appears the finale will take place.
This leaves me with questions:
Where did Mohinder resurrect Noah? If it was in the basement of Primatech Paper, in Odessa, how did Mohinder get the body there? Presumably, Noah is still in Odessa, maybe even in the same building as Hiro, Peter, and Adam.
Sylar and Maya - Leaving aside the issue of how they're paying for motels, wine, and gas, who's going to tell Mohinder that the action is in Odessa, so Sylar can find that out?
Of course, Matt will have to barge in so he can catch the same flight to Odessa with Mohinder, Molly, Sylar, and Maya.
The airlines have been doing good business the last couple of episodes.

The Company has a facility in Hartsdale, NY. That's where most of the action has occurred this season.
Considering that Mohinder is in New York, HRG is at the Hartsdale facility. I can't remember if they displayed the location text at the bottom of the screen - they usually do when bouncing between locales. Unfortunately, my DVR has been acting up for the last couple of weeks, and I wasn't able to record the show for review.
Matt is on Victoria's trail, so he's probably headed to Maine, where he will find Victoria barely alive, discover her secrets, and immediately head out to Odessa. Nathan is also looking for Peter, so he'll track Peter to Maine, where he'll met up with Matt. Bob will get word of Victoria's death, and also head to the Primatech facility in Odessa.
There will be a showdown involving Bob, Matt, Nathan, Peter, Hiro, and Adam in Odessa, during which Adam will be killed. Ultimately, Peter will save the world by sacrificing himself. I believe he'll end up teleporting himself and the 138 virus somewhere. Or, Nathan will have to fly him up into the atmosphere because he's concentrating too much on not dropping the vial of virus that he can't use a power. He'll then explode in order to destroy the virus, and everyone will presume he's dead...until next season, when he shows up in a shipping container without a shirt or a memory.
Mohinder was on his way to New Orleans to administer the cure to Niki. He obviously won't make it. I think that Monica, Niki, and Micah won't play a major role in the resolution of this arc, and that Niki's ultimate fate won't be resolved this season. At most, Monica will escape the gang, get DL's medal for Micah, and then all the New Orleans group will drop out of the story. It's possible that Monica will die, but I doubt it.
Mohinder will wimp out and administer the cure to Sylar to protect Molly. Somehow Maya will die, probably to stop her after she goes berserk when she finds out exactly what Sylar is and what he did to Alejandro.
The ultimate finale will be Sylar rising again, having regained his power, and ready to eat more brains. Personally, I wish he'd die or get permanently relocated to planet Vulcan.
Claire and HRG will also be outside the main action, stuck in California. He'll come home and knock some sense into her about going public. The Bennetts then go back on the run.

The preview showed Noah back at the house, plus time would be of the essence in saving him. Therefore, Primatech has a Southern California facility, from which they've been launching operations until Mohinder left to finish work on the virus in New York.
All Sylar wants is his powers back. He don't need Odessa.
Nice work, fitting Matt and Nathan back in the story, they can notify Bob, although he and Elle might stay in Costa Verde.
Adam may or may not be killed. He will be neutralized.
I think there's payoff with Nana. She's the matriarch of three heroes and doesn't have a power herself?
I would like Alejandro to kill her, and Sylar upset enough about it that absorbing her powers is a form of intimacy for him. That's just Lecter enough for me to like his evil.
But with West, unfortunately.

That got me thinking. With this outbreak of flying people, what would a mid-air collision look like?

Nana is D.L.'s aunt, not his mother. We don't know exactly how DL is related to her - is she his father's sister or his mother's sister? She could also be a great aunt (one of his grandfather/mother's sisters). So far, the only mutant in her line is Monica.
Nana hasn't really had that big an impact in the series. She hasn't even had that many lines (in most cases, she's just standing - or sleeping - in the background). I doubt she'll have any payoff.

Alejandro's dead. Or are we doing what ifs..?
There's only 3, I doubt they'd collide.
