Wow people, get a life. You're analyzing and over-analyzing the show and discussing what if's. It's only a tv program. Just sit back and enjoy the mindless show and forget about after it's over. That's what the writers want you to do.

That's a good question. I come here to catch up and to clarify on anything that I may have missed on the show. I like the updates but really, c'mon you guys are over-analyzing everything. Just watch the show and take everything in and don't think about it. After it's over, watch something else.

The writers created open-ended plot points and loose ends to cause a community to form and discuss things, and have fun speculating. The episodes are NOT discrete in nature, so just being mindless about it really would ruin it. This season is to be a mystery of sorts, and speculating is part of the fun.
No, the writers do NOT want people just to watch and shut up. They want them involved in the world, and talking about it, and promoting it virally. Your idea would end up killing the community. As for getting a life, I watch TV 1 hour a week (outside of some sports). Guess what I watch? Who has a life vs who doesn't then?
Besides, why the heck are you here writing, and shouldn't you have a large enough of a life that you don't need to worry whether or not other people do?

It is fun to speculate about things that are fiction, then say, come up with large speculations and conspiracy theories over stuff like, say, the WTC not being actually hit by commercial airliners and so on. Would you rather people become individuals who listen to Alex Jones hours on end and yell out, 'Don't Tazer me Bro'?

Side note, I am involved with the grassroots Ron Paul campaign, and am aware of excesses that are going on.

You could say the same thing about people discussing sports, recipes, or art. Diff'rent strokes, etc.

I'm curious as to why he thinks *we* don't have lives. He's the one who's so concerned about what other people are doing that he's here posting telling us what to do.
