She's a black woman shown in the photograph of The Twelve. Her power isn't specified, and she's identified as deceased.

I wonder... looking at the pic, maybe after 30 years she could look like Nichelle Nichols.

This is a reach, but Grambling State U is in Louisiana. Could the writers have been seeding a clue?

There are other unidentified members of The Twelve, and I've figured their stories are being held in reserve for future seasons. Maybe this is Paula's turn.

Just speculation.

Just to add to that, those others stories could be done with time travel, flashbacks, backstories for future plotlines, or surviving children.

One of the deceased in the photo was Carlos Mendez, presumably the father of Isaac Mendez.

Not possible.

1) Paula is on Chandra's list, and she's listed as deceased.

2) The picture is more recent - sometime before April 2007, since Arthur Petrelli is still alive. It is not from 30 years ago, though.

All of the members of The Twelve were identified by sticky notes on Matt's copy of the photo. What we know of these people:

Anything dealing with these people will have to be handled by flashbacks or visits to the past.

Victoria Pratt in the photo seems considerably younger than the present Victoria. But then, Bob doesn't look much different at all.

Can't the writers say, 'Oh, the ID was wrong, he's still alive after all'?
