Ok, the instant I saw Adam untying what's-her-name I knew what was going to happen. Now, I can sort of understand Peter not foreseeing it, because he wants to believe that Adam is his friend I guess. Still, after the fact, it should have been pretty clear that Adam untied her knowing she would try to kill one of them, giving him an excuse to kill her. She had already said that's what Adam was going to do (kill her.) So, either Peter allowed her to die in order to hide the fact that he's on to Adam, or he's really that blind to what's going on?

Peter could always try reading Hiro's mind, which I assume Hiro would be quite willing to let him do. Then he could see everything Hiro knows about Adam, going back to his evil actions in ancient Japan.

Alternatively, Hiro and Peter, who have at least some reason to trust and respect each other, could say: Hey, we're here. Time's stopped. Let's talk about this. Hiro could explain why he thinks Adam in dangerous. Peter could explain why he thinks Adam is okay. (In any reasonable version of this discussion, Hiro's point of view prevails big-time. He knows way more; Peter can see it in his mind, if he needs to; and even Peter is capable of understanding that Adam might have done something good - like save Nathan - just in order to get Peter's help.)

'He killed my father, I must kill him in revenge - AIEEEE!' is so much less convincing, and more likely to provoke a defensive response from Peter, than an actual conversation between two decent, relatively intelligent men. Which, after all, they have time for.

I really did, however, like the moment when Hiro stopped time - and Peter wasn't stopped and instantly knew what was going on, because, after all, he has Hiro's power too. Very dramatic effect.

Logically I can see that and rationalise it but watching the show as presented it wasn't done convincingly.

Then, only when he's gained power with his ability, as Matt has, will he be able to filter out the 'faked' memories.

They don't retrieve memories only thoughts: reading Hiro's mind would be pointless because he almost certainly thinks in Japanese.

I was thinking, when adam tried to stole the virus the first time he said that after all this year he saw a cycle of killing by war and violence and he must stop this, the only way is changing society (killing society, of course.. exploding man, virus) so I think he really believes this is a solution so if Peter read his mind he will only see he's trying to do the right thing...

In 400 years a lot stuff has happened, i think Hiro betrayel is not the reason for this behavior, adam exist with or without hiro, if adam knows kaito from long time ago, he knows his last name is nakamura and he has a son called hiro, he could take revenge long time ago, but he didn´t..

Ha ha maybe he took his revenge killing yaeco when hiro leaves her in 1671...who knows..

Adam's non-Japanese features would have faded out over the generations.

It's no big deal. Japanese people interbred with the Ainu people who are, in turn, genetically related to Siberians. That's part of the reason why Japanese people are, on average, lighter skinned than other Asians (and why they are the only East Asian people who can develop full beards).

That's because Hiro went back to the time when Adam first manifested his power.

Which still qualifies as knowing other superpowered people for centuries. When he put together the 12, he had plenty of time to play with a telepath and learn the way of it, much as Mrs Petrelli knows the way of it.
