I'm new at this e-bay thingy and I haven't sold any of my anime things. But right now I need to raise some money and I am considering selling some of my stuff that is related to anime...pencil boards, posters, manga, and some illustration books.

But I do have some important questions:

First, I am not a U.S. resident

Yes, it would be okay. When you put an item up for sale or auction, make sure you say what country you're in, and what currency you will want to be paid in, so that people will know before they bid. It would help a lot if you say how much it'll cost for shipping with insurance to the U.S. and Europe.

Used merchandise is acceptable. Just describe what condition it's in. If you can, include a scanned picture so people can see it.

There might be some people interested in buying it.

Sometimes there are disagreements between the seller and the winning bidder, but most of the time it seems to work well. I think it's a good idea to insist on being paid by international money order, and to have the parcel insured in case it gets lost or damaged.
