Hiro, Peter, Sylar, Mr. Bennet (damn you Tim Kring!)

Good question. Actually, I noticed that during this episode I was becoming increasingly annoyed at meeting all these new characters while at the same time thinking I'd better not get too attached to them...they're likely just Sylar fodder. I know it's a catch-22, but I'd rather sit down and enjoy a good plot with character development, than wondering 'okay...who's going to die today.'

Hiro can't die yet. He has to live long enough to learn to speak English fluently, age significantly, and then teleport into the NYC subway system.

That Hiro no longer exists, because NY didn't blow up

Didn't we first see the older Hiro early in the season, maybe on the premiere, in the subway?
A separate time from the false future?
I wonder if he can age in the past, before he returns.

Hey, if he's not turned on after a few days in the car with Maya...
Oh. I see what you meant now.
