Thoughts: Four Months Ago (11/12/07) - SPOILERS!

1. Wow....Peter saved Nathan!

2. And Maya killed Alejandro's cheatin' bride.

3. Elle and Bob take down Peter, so Peter now has Bob's power, whatever it is. And, perhaps the power of The Haitian.

4. Another confirmation that Jessica is a manifestation of MPD. But, another personality...and now we have Gina.

5. Elle is just a bit too exuberant and needy.

6. Angela just keeps that 'paranoid delusion' story going on and on.

7. D.L. becomes a fireman. Nice use of his abilities, and a nice way to make him a hero to Micah.

In general, I was underwhelmed by this episode after all the hype. Yes, we learn about Nathan, Peter, Niki, and D.L., but why nothing about Matt and Janice? HRG and Claire? Why waste *more* time with the Plague Twins? Really, what was shown about them didn't deepen their characters or extend our knowledge of them.

Too bad she and her brother didn't do themselves in, I just do not like this story line at all.

Hmmm I never thought about the power of the Haitian in Peter's absorbing ability.

I'd rather they develop her strength rather than introduce another personality. Yet it seems that personality was from 1.5 months ago, we haven't seen Gina since.

Creepy and I don't even hate her character enough to like it.

I think she may have the power of suggestion, as she suggested to Nathan's wife that this needed to be a secret.

And far to quick to be close to real.

thanks you I agree. What happened with HRG, Claire, Matt, Shuresh? Yet we get more of the twins?

Obviously, the Yin/Yang Twins and Sylar were supposed to play a bigger role in the finale. However; with the writers strike looming - I think that story line is just going to fade away and not have an effect on the finale.. The bigger story is Adam v. The Company, and the Shanti Virus - which by all accounts, will mutate and kill all humans (see Peter's future trip). Maybe Adam knows this and Bob doesn't? Does the Company not realize that what they're doing by manipulating the blood of the Heroes?

What I'm still not clear on, is who is the 'protagonist' and who is the 'villain'. Bob seems like he has the best interest in mind, and not in that Linderman kinda way. But maybe the Company is just an extension of Linderman, in which case - why did they form the company anyway from the Group of 12?

And what is Noah's play in all of this? Is he really a rogue just trying to protect Claire??

There are still a lot of questions and my fear is that the writer's strike is going to really force the end of the show before it was ready - and make for a disappointing Heroes crowd.

Bob has midas touch to transmute stuff (at least to gold).

Just like Bruce Banner.

Almost as needy as her more dangerous cousin, Gwen Raiden.

The wonder twins are the 'Nikki and Paulo' of HEROES.

I've enjoyed this season of HEROES and this ep. There's only so many plots they can juggle in one hour, tho it would have been nice to integrate the wonder twins more with the other characters we ALREADY care about. Woulda been nice if they had running from HRG or Invisible Man on the hunt back then of ... 'mysterious deaths'.

He was looking at the picture of Nathan and him that was in the box (the one he took from Nathan's hospital room).

Just before, Adam told him to heal himself.

Before this gets out of hand - yes, I know that what Bob has show so far is transmutation, but we don't know the full extent of the power. I meant that Peter has Bob's power in all its furious glory.

Niki tells Bob, 'I'm through with Jessica.' Bob says, 'What if another personality comes out?' That was too convenient.

The role is being overplayed. She's already annoying.

The camera focussed on Angela stroking Heidi's arms a lot. Perhaps we've seen her power, the power of suggestion, as Jane said in another reply.

On my second viewing, I just hit FF for both segments on the twins.

Another thing I realized. In this ep we learned from Adam that he had been held in the 'facility' for 30 years or so.

That would explain why he hasn't had any contact with Hiro because he's been a prisoner longer than Hiro has been alive.

That big an explosion should have vaporized him.

Who is way cute!

Like her a lot.

Didn't buy that guy killing him at all. Very weak plot device.

I found it very useful, but it should have been the seasons first episode.
