Thoughts: Four Months Later... (09/24/2007) SPOILERS!

1. The episode picks up Nicely from the season ending. However, I would have liked a little more about the fallout from the night in Kirby Plaza...for example, just how did Nathan survive? At least Angela has the decency to look rather disheveled.

2. Claire is still struggling with who she is.

3. That's a nice power - turning metal into gold!

4. Just what is Maya's power? All the eyes were black, and it appeared that a branch was on fire. Another radioactive creature?

5. Does anyone find it...disturbing...that Claire's potential love interest has the same power as her real father? And he seems to be the reincarnation of Zack.

6. Reality is so disappointing. Kenzai is an Englishman and mercenary.

7. Peter has no memory, but still has some power.

8. Last year, it was the Nissan Versa. This year, it's going to be the Rogue, and it looks like Hayden has been elected as the official spokesperson. Since Masi was the spokesperson last year, maybe Hayden will get the Emmy nod.

9. Matt makes detective, got divorced, and is shacked up with Mohinder and Molly.

10. So, it appears that 12 started The Company...3 are now dead (Charles Deveaux, Bill Linderman, and Dallas Petrelli). Angela Petrelli and Kaito Nakamura are on the outs...that means there are 7 left. Who could they be?

11. That scene around the dining table was pricelessly awkward.

12. Given the fact that NBC likes to bury clues...the name on the toner cartridges came from Haberkern Print Supply.

13 Mohinder's Monologue: The sun rises on a new dawn. Yet few of us realize the debt we owe to those responsible for this. To those who dwell among us, anonymous, seemingly ordinary, whom destiny brought together to repair, to heal, to save us from ourselves.

And they're still out there, among us, in the shadows, in the light. We pass them on the street without a glance, never suspecting, never knowing. Do they even know yet? That they are bound together by a common purpose, a glaring reality, to be extraordinary?

And when destiny does anoint them...How do they hide from it?

How long can they dwell in the shadows before either fate or their own flawed humanity draws them in out into the light again? And how will they know what awaits them when it finally does?

Also, Molly is apparantly having nightmares about Sauron. 'I seeeeeeee youuuuuuuuuu'

Then there was that scene where he looked at himself in the mirror, very scarred. Did he get Candace's ability to project an illusion?

My first thought was King Midas

The bleeding from the eyes makes me think Hemmorrhagic fever. I think she's a walking virus, and her brother has the ability to null out her ability. That's why it was so important that they remain together.

I smell a sitcom. Maybe a mid season replacement for Sylinder. Also, Madame Parkman being gone tells me that the baby almost certainly wasn't Matt's.

I felt the opener was very strong and gives us a lot to build on, but I wonder if there was a sale on hooded sweatshirts at Villains R Us.
