Thoughts: Truth and Consequences (11/26/2007) - SPOILERS!
1. A combined mission - Peter, Adam, and Matt are searching for Victoria. Hiro is hunting Adam. Finally, a sense of people coming together.

2. Like I've been saying all along, Bob is a master manipulator. He knows just what to offer, just what buttons to push, to get people do his bidding.

3. So Mohinder did save HRG. And Mohinder is still an idiot - he turns whichever way the wind blows, without considering anything deeper than what he's shown on the surface. Of course, if everyone - including HRG - would quit being cryptic and actually *say* something, thing might change.

4. And Sylar is getting back into the manipulative mode. He just keeps going for creepiness. It's just tiresome. He belongs with Maya.

5. Peter's pretty cool in the sights of a shot gun. I guess I would, too, if I could heal from any wound.

6. Strain 138. Ground zero. Boom.

7. Still no info on what power Victoria has.

8. Will Monica step up and be a hero? Well, at least she tried.

9. Peter should be a bit smarter than that. Again, no one communicates very well, nor do they listen to what others are trying to say, and it always causes problems.

10. A showdown between Peter and Hiro. Peter definitely has chosen the wrong side.

11. Next Monday is d-day. Will it end well?

Hell yeah! Did Peter just read her mind (Season 1 Matt), or did he force the thought out of her (Maury-fied Matt)?

She will not forgive him for hurting her brother. He looked alone in the promo.

I got that Odessa and Ukraine stuff mixed up for a bit there. There's no place like home.

I'm sure she was a normal, therefore the shotgun.

What I want to know is, is it Nana Time?

This Hiro had just the right touch of Future Hiro in him.

Are you crazy? The writers planned this all along. Same formula as last year, minus the catchy phrase. If there ever was a time to justify your job, now's the time to do it.

I didn't get that sense, and there isn't enough time for it come together, one episode to finish.. Ugh!

He is definately a master manipulator but I still can't figure out if he's truley a bad guy or not.

Mohinder needs a good ass beating. For one so smart he's a complete idiot.

After not seeing these three last week, it was a dispointment to see them for so much of this episode. Maya is an idiot as well, her and Shuresh need to hook up they could keep each other busy being confused.

I like him forcing the thought from Victoria.

She's probably not dead. Surprise, seems like no one actually dies on this show.

Agreed, but he's not the brightest bulb on the tree.

No but there is too much that needs to come together and only one episode to finish it in, I think we're all going to be pretty disappointed i.e. final episode season 1

Yup just wrote that in response to your original post. After last weeks intense episode, this one was a bit flat.

I can make it rain in the Ninth Ward, anytime I want to, so remember, I helped put you in this world, and I can take you out....

There's two reasons not to tie things up. One is so the audience will tune in when the strike is over. The second is that the writers are selling themselves on these cliffhangers. Every fall serial has been adjusted for this moment, because it's like May, except never knowing when Autumn will come back around. And with reality TV and game shows on the menu now, this strike plays more like trench warfare than the 1988 strike. The storytellers have to earn their keep.

Re:Thoughts: Truth and Consequences (11/26/2007) - SPOILERS!
He didn't force it. He read it. He's not quite that far advanced in the power.

Ugh...this is a tiresome refrain. There have only been four characters that have truly resurrected (and, for some, multiple times): Claire, Peter, Adam, and HRG. Three of them have the power of regeneration, so their regeneration is not surprising. The resurrection of HRG is the only character that has been resurrected without such a power.

One of the things the show is very careful about, though, is that the characters pretty much revive soon after they are killed. They don't die, disappear for several episodes, and then reappear.

Even the victims of Maya were resurrected soon after. And it's really not clear that anyone actually died.

Of the others who died, every one of them have thus far remained dead. This list includes Charlie, Jackie Wilcox, Eden, Charles Deveaux, Simone, Zane Taylor, Dale Smither, Isaac, Virginia Gray, and Kaito Nakamura.

Revisiting someone in the past is not 'resurrecting' them. Speculating that some one is not dead is not resurrecting them. Characters assuming that someone is dead, only to find out otherwise, is not resurrecting them.

I enjoyed Micah smacking the lights out on his dumbass cousin, and next week, two heroes will die. May one of them cry.

yeah that was good, there was some good stuff, Claire sticking her fist through the car window was good. I just didn't enjoy Sylar and the Twinkies, I'm hoping 'two that die' will be Maya and not sure of the other one I wouldn't mind seeing go. It'll probably be Micah's female cousin (shoot I forgot her name) I'm hoping Peter wises up before the last second and actually kicks some but rather then just flying off again. I just have a bad feeling this last episode is going to be like watching a balloon

Oh I really hope they wrap this story line up, it's about had it.

They need to start a new story line and keep it alive, not drag it out.

We don't know that for sure, that is an assumption, yes he read it, but why would she be thinking where it is, you'd think after dealing with Matt's dad, she'd know better. Another asumption on my part, I'm sure she is prepared to deal with a mind reader.

Yet now they know Claire's blood can resurrect them, Victoria seems to be an important part of discovery for this virus, so she could be a candidate in the use of Claire's blood. Nathan may not have died but probably would have with those burns, yet he was given Adam's blood to speed heal. Sylar was left for dead, should have died but of course he didn't. Really what has he done for the series this season? He's just not the big bad. Having a Character die is not longer a big deal, now that we know Claire and Adams blood can bring them back.
