Tim Kring is a manatee. Even beyond the whole super-powers thing, the characters in Heroes aren't believable. They don't change or grow as people in meaningful or sensible ways. They reveal nothing about themselves through their actions or dialogue. The characters have been pulled through the events of Season One like they were going through a haunted house ride at a state fair. Circumstances have changed but they're still the same static lumps. Action figures posed in different ways for different situations.
There's also no credibility of plot. It hasn't been revealed in a satisfying way, or in a way that even makes much sense. It just doesn't 'ring true'.
This was all somewhat forgivable for Season One, under the assumption that once the characters and their abilities and personalities had been firmly established they could actually *do stuff* and *grow* in Season Two. Instead, more new characters have been added, Season One characters have been 'reset' and nobody is doing much of anything.
It's all very disappointing.
