Who dies in the season finale?

I hate saying 'season finale...'

Anyway, who do you think are the two heroes that fall? I can't imagine anybody dying permanently but who knows?

I'm hoping they count Maya as one of them (I'm hoping she dies one way or another). I don't think Sylar gets her power since that it would be tough to imagine anyone being able to stop him with it.

At the very least he gets his telekinetic powers back (from the preview).

I wouldn't mind the ever useless Nikki or Micah dying. Maybe Nathan? (But then what was the point of him being in this season at all?)

It depends on the writer's strike. It's the finale to Chapter 2, Chapter 3 was supposed to start up in the spring but if the strike goes on a few months, it may well be the season finale. Stay tuned for further details...

I'd love for Maya, Niki, Micah and New Orleans girl to all go. They are terrible actors and contribute NOTHING.

I'm pretty sure it's the season finale. They would have started filming the early 2008 episodes already had there not been a strike. Kring even said that if the strike didn't end quickly, they would just use this next episode, which happened to be the cliffhanger leading into the winter break, as the season finale.

If it isn't permanent, then death will lose all credibility in this show.

I'm not sure if it's their acting abilities, or poor writing and direction, but I agree those characters are worse than the commercials lately.
